Delete your account
Permanent, immediate, and entirely your call. Here's exactly what happens.
This cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no recovery window — once deletion runs, your songbook and posts are gone.
From inside the app (fastest)
- Open ChordGrab and go to Profile → Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
- Your account and data are removed immediately.
Can't sign in?
Enter the email address on your account. We'll verify it's yours, process the deletion, and confirm by email.
Deleted permanently
- Your profile and display name
- Your email and sign-in credentials
- Your songbook and saved songs
- Community posts, comments, and likes
- Uploaded avatars and post images
Kept, but anonymised
- Chord corrections you submitted
- Cached chord detections
These are detached from your account rather than deleted, because other people's results depend on them. Once detached they contain nothing that identifies you.
Aggregated analytics that can no longer identify you may be retained. Any billing history held by Apple or Google is governed by their policies, not ours. For the full picture, see the privacy policy.
